Glenn Lytton

I began my Scrap Metals career in London buying throughout England all grades of Copper and related Alloy scrap for refining into LME brand pure Cathode. Moving to NY, I exported Non-Ferrous scrap to Japan and Europe, then hedge-trading parcels of Aluminum and Copper grades and specification Wire Choppings to USA consumers. Now in Florida, specialized in arranging the purchasing and rolloff-pickup of Industrial scrap metal for delivery into well established recycling yards for processing. Which has led to the best – Valley Metal Services ! For a decade now, starting with the continuation of the rolloff business, then building up to the buying and dispatching of Mill quality steel scrap from experienced and loyal suppliers.
Darya Jennings
Broker/Logistics Coordinator
Darya joined Valley Metal Services family part time in 2010 and became a full timer in 2014. She has over 30 years of experience in the scrap recycling and scrap logistics industry. She has found this to be a passion and loves being involved in all aspects of our industry, however, transportation is her specialty.
Darya has experience in day-to-day operations, management, sales, bookkeeping/accounting and business development. She uses all these attributes in her daily workings of buying/selling of both non-ferrous/ferrous metals whether it be domestic or exporting.
Outside the business world, Darya loves to hunt, fish and spend time outdoors with her family.
Brian Shelton

Brian was born in Miami but grew up in Northern Minnesota in an iron ore steel mining town. His parents relocated to Southwest Florida in 1982 and Brian decided he preferred beach sand to snow drifts.
Brian’s team management and negotiating experience in the mortgage brokerage, real estate and home building industries transfers easily to the scrap industry. While automotive recycling is his core business, Brian strives at the difficult commodities. If you have any size demolition project or material you can’t place, give him a call.
Brian lives a fast paced life riding motorcycles on the street or track but knows how to relax on the golf course or in the sun boating with family and friends.
Adam Pankow
Broker
Adam Pankow, born in 1974, grew up in SW Florida, has a beautiful wife of 18 years and three children. He has been in the scrap business since 2016 with Valley Metal Services not only in trading scrap, but our go to guy for his very strong mechanical back ground, along with trucking knowledge and any associated equipment.
When Adam is not out buying scrap he enjoys family time camping, riding ATV’s and pretty much anything outdoors.
Nadya Van Tilburg
Accounts Payable/Receivable
Born in Florida, Nadya worked for 9 years in property management and several years in the construction trade, mainly electrical, HVAC, and Trim carpentry. She also did an eight month stint with Chad in 2003 enduring a New Hampshire winter. Deciding that living in the snow was not for her, she took a fast track back to good ole South West Florida to beautiful waters, sunshine, and plenty of heat.
Nadya began her work life with Valley Metal Services in fall of 2011. It did not take long before she got hooked on this odd business of scrap metal recycling. Being a quick study, she quickly took the reins of Valley Metal Services internal business dealings including AR and Ap. Her DNA is on all aspects of our company as she works hand and hand with her husband Chad.
They are now partners in the exciting new phase of Valley Metals maintaining the same integrity and family traditions as the company was built on. Boating, enjoying family and friends are on her list, along with her three cats.
Kerrie Wooten
Accounts Payable/Receivable
In her past work life she was a GM for a fitness club for 6 years. Although she enjoyed the life style of exercising business along with meeting new people, her close relationship with Nadya led her to Valley Metal Services. With this new venture in the complex world of scrap recycling Kerrie has excelled in our AR department along with helping to build a stronger internal business for us.
She has been a part of the VMS Team since 2015 works out of our main office in Cape Coral, and lives locally with her husband and two daughters. You can find her with a very close knit family enjoying skating, cooking, and beaching or just enjoying the outdoors.
Hunter Brown
Broker/Office Administrator
Born and raised in Tennessee most of his life and moved to Florida in 2018.Married to a beautiful wife Cortney in 2017, they are sharing their new home with the cutest dog rescue, Max. Hunter loves to hunt and fish and just being in the woods. His main duties include working as a trading rep, and office duties, additionally he fills in supporting Chad, Adam and occasionally as truck dispatch for Darya. Needless to say he is kept quite busy in our Cape Coral office and has been a part of the team since 2019
Bob Merkle

Bob and Rae began operating Valley Metal Services, LLC, in February 2009 as a small regional metal trading company in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. With a combined 70+ years in the industry, they thought this would remain small enough for just the two of them. Well, Chad & Nadya Van Tilburg joined the team and in a couple of years along with Darya Jennings, the business got out of hand.
Bob and Rae had to move back to Florida, where most of the business existed and it took off. Chad & Nadya have carried on in an ownership role and have not stopped since. They along with all our business family have carried on with the values and traditions established in the beginning.
